Carla Swank Fox

Carla Swank Fox is an accomplished writer and social strategist, having worked for more than a decade in the communications industry.
Carla is the co-founder and lead organizer of Craft Content Nashville, a community of digital content creators which hosts monthly meetup events as well as an annual “unconference” event.
Previously, Carla was a reporter, copy editor and webcast producer for the Beaver County Times near Pittsburgh, where she won a Bronze Telly Award for webcast production. She also worked as a writer, editor and network producer for Rivals.com and Yahoo! Sports, where her long-form feature on high school athletes and sudden cardiac death published on The PostGame received national attention.
Carla holds a B.A. in Communication, Media Production and Corporate Communication as well as an M.S. in Organizational Studies and Leadership, both from Robert Morris University. She currently is a lecturer focusing on interactive media in the College of Media and Entertainment at Middle Tennessee State University, editor of WorshipArts Magazine, and an active freelance writer and digital strategist.
